David Abergel is a fully qualified architect in Israel, UK, and Spain. Having gathered invaluable experience in a wide variety of architect offices, he opened his own practice in Jerusalem in 2013 where his goal is to create unique and innovative architectural solutions for even the simplest of projects. He provides a full service of works from initial design to hand-over and works in close contact with his clients in guiding them throughout the design and building process.
Born in Gibraltar, David pursued his lifetime passion for architecture in the UK. Having successfully completed his studies David moved to London in 1998 where he worked for a few major firms to include “Building Design Partnership”, "Allies & Morrison"and “Simpson Haugh Architects”. His experince included a large shopping centre in Madrid, “the Jam Factory”, a large residential warehouse conversion project for live and work spaces in London’s south bank as well as, 1 Blackfriars, a mixed-use skyscraper by the Thames.
In 2005 David moved to Israel where he has now settled down with his wife and 3 children. The first few years he worked at “Kolker, Kolker & Epstein”, a top Israeli architect firm, where he was a project architect for large residential projects and office schemes. He then moved on to work for "Michael Shwartz Architects", where he worked on high-end residential homes as well as luxury hotel refurbishment and conservation projects.
